Crafted from locally sourced, sustainably harvested maple hardwood, the My First Blocks Set of Montgomery Schoolhouse building blocks contains 21 pieces in 8 different shapes.

The base block unit is 1" and each dimension of all blocks is a multiple of 1" so blocks can be stacked cleanly and uniformly. Each set comes in a sturdy box for storage. Ages: 1+

A message from the manufacturer:  In our Schoolhouse Naturals line, we focus on using local lumber that is sustainably harvested and child-safe decorations. While all our finishes are technically suitable, in this line we take it even further. We use maple, the best, most durable wood and as a standard, these products are offered with no applied chemicals at all, no finish and no inks. Any decoration is applied by laser. Some products do have a finish option and in those cases we use a natural oil. This oil is as safe for us to use as they are for your child to play with.
